Principles and uses of relational databases with practical example using python and sqlite. Bring a laptop with a Python 2 installation, which will suffice for most of the workshop. Installing sqlitebrowser is a good idea, and gpu-parallel will help with one or two of the exercise. You can also work on SciNet.
