Learn how to pinpoint and alleviate bottlenecks in large data-driven research projects. Techniques such as tar, compression, ramdisk, file format options, and job scheduling techniques will be covered.

In this workshop, we will be using mostly linux shell commands, so we recommend having a linux type shell specially if you are not using a linux or mac OS. Some options are: cygwin, MobaXterm, git-bash, or the ubuntu-bash if you are using windows 10.
